How to sit on YogaChair

Approach your chair from the side.  Stand with one foot on the floor, in the center between the two kneepads, and one foot on either the right or left side of the chair.  Feel the front of the seat cushion on the back of your leg. Using that contact to guide you slowly lower yourself to a seated position.  Now that you are seated and feel stable and comfortable, pick up your legs and rest your shins on the kneepads.  Adjust yourself to the most comfortable and balanced sitting position you have ever experienced. 
 
You can actually feel your spine extending from your pelvis without any effort.  Your body will find a natural sitting position, just from sitting on YogaChair.  Most people feel the difference instantly.

Why YogaChair feels so different and so good

As you sit in a regular chair your core muscles relax.  Your spine and your shoulders collapse into your pelvis and put a strain on back muscles, especially your lower back muscles.  Notice your posture and how you feel when sitting in a regular chair after only a very short period of time.  It's probably not good; you certainly don't feel the expansiveness in your lower and mid-back area that you feel while sitting on the YogaChair.
